Heat Press Vinyl
Heat press vinyl (HTV) is a type of material made with a thin layer of vinyl with a heat-activated adhesive backing. When heat and pressure are applied using a heat press machine or an iron, the vinyl adheres to the surface, creating a long-lasting design.
DTF (Direct to Film)
Direct to Film (DTF) is a printing technique where designs are printed onto a special film using a water-based ink and then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is a printing technique where ink is pushed through a mesh stencil (or screen) onto a material, usually fabric, to create a design. It’s widely used for high-quality, durable prints on t-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel.
Embroidery
Industrial embroidery is a high-speed, automated stitching process used to create detailed, long-lasting designs on fabric. It’s commonly used for branding, uniforms, corporate apparel, and fashion.

Our Custom apparel allows our customers to send us the designs they are looking for or provide an idea of what they are looking for that we can design for them. My name is Maggie Jacobson, and I am the founder and creator of Trait Clothing. Before launching this company, I dedicated my career to elementary education, where my mission was to educate and inspire the whole child. I believed then—and still do now—that every person, regardless of their background, experiences, strengths, or weaknesses, is extraordinary. What truly matters is what they bring to the table, and that is not just enough—it’s powerful. Trait Clothing was born from this belief, celebrating individuality and empowering people to embrace who they are with confidence and pride.
